"Striding ahead in training for horses & riders" Scotlands finest training facilities are found in the heart of lowland Perthshire within the Strathearn valley. We are delighted to announce that Douglas Weymouth with his wealth of experience in design and construction of cross country fences has created a number of New exciting fences for 2006. All levels of riders are welcome
with their own horses/ponies to enjoy cross country fences set amongst
50 acres of permanent pasture and woodland. We have over 150 jumping options
from 1' 0" - 3' 6 cross country fences, encompassing natural water
features, banks and hills. A full set of show jumps on grass and an all
weather arena is also available for hire. Several new portable fences
will allow riders to enjoy variety encompassing arrowheads, pallisades
angles and turns.Please see new fences page.
An ideal training complex for young
horses and inexperienced riders to gain confidence as all banks, ditches,
steps and water complexes have options for first timers. More experienced
riders are able to enjoy a range of testing and technical features including
arrowheads, corners, a bounce, ski jump, into space, coffin, trakehner and
two water complexes for all abilities.
A kindergarten playground has been built to encourage youngsters and novices to ride over cross country fences in a smaller and enclosed area for spectators to view from one place including huts, pallisades, houses . Training facilities are available for hire by individuals or clubs with or without tuition. Tuition is encouraged to maintain a high level of safety and understanding of cross country riding, remembering its all about fun!
